Chart notes:
American singer/songwriter Hayley Kiyoko rises to the top of the LGBT chart at midweek with "Deep In the Woods", moving up one more place from the weekend's #2 position. Hayley describes the track as "a song that captures the feeling of instant connection, as if you've known someone forever even though you've only just met. It feels as if your entire being is haunted by their presence wherever you go. It's that instantaneous moment of knowing that you are willing to do anything to be with the one you love." The clip shows Hayley wandering through the woods in an effort to be closer to her crush. Over the past three days, the video for "Deep In the Woods" has gained an additional 22,005 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 7.57% since the weekend's chart).
Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Spanish musician Blas Cantó rebounds back up 7 places to #6 with "El Bueno Acaba Mal". American drag queen Sharon Needles (from Newton, Iowa) climbs 4 notches to #7 with "Flamin' Hot". American rocker Maggie Lindemann (from Dallas, Texas) leaps ahead 12 positions to #9 with "You're Not Special". They're joined in the Top 10 by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, who's moving up 10 more spots to #10 with "Ácido Sabor".
Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Tomorrow" by English vocalist Jamie Hannah, entering the chart at #38. This is Jamie's third single to reach the Top 50 on the LGBT chart this year, following up on two back-to-back #1 hits ("Flowers" and "Bohemian Rhapsody"). Over the past half-week, the video for "Tomorrow" has gained an additional 6,204 YouTube views (which is a huge increase of 12.33% over the previous chart period!).
