Chart notes:
Brazilian artist Jotta A has earned her first #1 on the LGBT chart this weekend with "Alasca", moving up 2 more places from the midweek's #3 position. After starting her career as a gospel singer, Jotta came out in 2022 as transgender and began a new career as a pop singer/songwriter. Jotta wrote the lyrics for "Alasca" after having her heart broken by someone who lied and cheated. "Pain sometimes makes us villains in our own stories... which we believed to be fairy tales," she vents. Over the past half-week, the video for "Alasca" has gained an additional 4,301 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.34% since the midweek's chart).

Four videos move up into the Top 10 this weekend. German singer/songwriter Leopold climbs 6 notches to #6 with "Unwanted". British actor/singer Luke Evans (from Caerphilly, Wales) rises 8 spots to #8 with "Bridge Over Troubled Water". British musician Oliver Sim (from London, England) leaps ahead 11 places to #9 with "Never Here". They're joined in the Top 10 by American rap collective Brockhampton (from San Marcos, Texas), who move up 7 more positions to #10 with "Man on the Moon".

Eleven songs fall off the chart to make way for eleven new songs. The weekend chart features 11 debuts by LGBTQ artists from Germany, England, the U.S.A., Austria, Brazil, Ukraine, South Korea, and Australia:
  • Lia Şahin (from Germany)
  • Conchita Wurst (from Austria)
  • Davi Sabbag (from Brazil)
  • The Overtones (from England, U.K.)
  • Billy Porter (from Pennsylvania, U.S.A.)
  • Max Barskih (from Ukraine)
  • Lena Meyer-Landrut (from Germany)
  • Iris Marlowe (from Illinois, U.S.A.)
  • Nine (from South Korea)
  • Cub Sport (from Australia)
  • Nimmo (from England, U.K.)
Chart positions are determined by points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
