Chart notes:
After waiting patiently at #2 for three consecutive weeks, Brazilian singer/songwriter/model Urias finally gets to #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart with "Neo Thang". Urias describes her musical style as a mixture of hip-hop, rap, electronic music, and traditional Brazilian rhythms. She has recorded songs with lyrics in three different languages (Portuguese, English, and French). Recently Urias spoke about her decision to come out publicly as a member of the LGBTQ community and she shared that "As a trans girl, I'll talk about my life... If at least one trans girl sees herself in my music, then my job is done." Over the past half-week, the video for "Neo Thang" has gained an additional 12,873 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.33% since the weekend's chart).

Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: Chilean/Mexican musician Rubio rebounds back up 2 positions to #9 with "Después De Ahorgarme". Austrian drag superstar Conchita Wurst climbs 6 notches to #6 with "Dirty Maria". South Korean boy-band Ateez rises 9 spots to #7 with "Halazia". They're joined in the Top 10 by American singer/songwriter Milahroy (from Los Angeles, California), who's leaping ahead 12 places to #8 with "The Rush".

Eight songs fall off the chart to make way for eight new songs. The midweek chart features 8 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., Puerto Rico, Italy, Australia, and Scotland:
  • Kany García (from Puerto Rico)
  • Miley Cyrus (from Tennessee, U.S.A.)
  • Mad Tsai (originally from Florida & now residing in California, U.S.A.)
  • Måneskin (from Italy)
  • Andie Case (originally from Oregon & now living in Washington, U.S.A.)
  • Zanias (from Australia)
  • Joesef (from Scotland, U.K.)
  • Heartthrob Robb (from New York, U.S.A.)

Chart positions are determined by points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
