Chart notes:
Belgian singer/songwriter Pierre De Maere earns his first #1 hit on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Enfant De", moving up 3 more places from the weekend's #4 position. Originally from the small town of Walhain in the province of Walloon Brabant, Pierre released his first official single "Un Jour Je Marierai Un Ange" in November 2021. The track quickly went viral on TikTok and other social media platforms, reaching #4 on the official chart in Belgium and #9 in France. Here on Tad's LGBT Music Chart, the video for "Un Jour Je Marierai Un Ange" peaked at #14 in January 2022 and spent a total of three weeks in the Top 50. Pierre is a self-taught musician who has never taken singing or music lessons. He is openly gay, but he says that he prefers the term "flamboyant" rather than "queer". Over the past half-week, the video for "Enfant De" has gained an additional 64,295 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 1.65% since the weekend's chart).

Three videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: British singer/songwriter Sakima (from Buckinghamshire, England) rebounds back up 5 positions to #7 with "Pretty Boys". Spanish singer/dancer Lola Indigo climbs 7 notches to #6 with "Corazones Rotos". They're joined in the Top 10 by American singer/actress Miley Cyrus (originally from Tennessee & now living in Los Angeles, California), who's leaping ahead 10 spots to #9 with "Flowers".

Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The midweek chart features 9 debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Japan, Colombia, and Germany:
  • MeseMoa (from Japan)
  • Mabiland (from Colombia)
  • Rebecca Black (from California, U.S.A.)
  • Kelela (from Maryland, U.S.A.)
  • Wincent Weiss (from Germany)
  • MNEK (from England, U.K.)
  • Trinity The Tuck (from Alabama, U.S.A.) & Yvie Oddly (from Colorado, U.S.A.)
  • Amy True (from England, U.K.)
  • Hannah Trigwell (from England, U.K.)

Chart positions are determined by points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the email address below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
