Midweek Chart: 16 March 2022

Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.

Midweek Chart for 16th March, 2022

Chart notes:
It's a second consecutive week at #1 for Brazilian drag superstar Gloria Groove, who manages to hang onto the #1 position with "Vermelho". Over the past three days, the video for "Vermelho" has gained an additional 1,356,269 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 7.57% since the weekend's chart).

Just two videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, both of which happen to be from American acts. LP (originally from Long Island, New York) climbs 5 notches to #6 with "My Body". Singer/songwriter Chaz Cardigan (who's originally from Kentucky and now resides in Tennessee) leaps ahead 10 spots to #10 with "Rockwell".

Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Slow Song" by American duo The Knocks (from New York City) and Canadian singer/songwriter Dragonette (from Toronto, Ontario), entering the chart at #36. The clip stars American drag queen Aquaria, the winner of the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Over the past half-week, the video for "Slow Song" has gained an additional 35,127 YouTube views (which is an increase of 9.05% over the previous chart period).

Further down the chart, we have 9 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from Canada, the U.S.A., England, South Korea, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, and France:

Chart positions are determined by points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist and they must be available on YouTube.
