Chart notes:
American musician Katie Gavin (from Winnetka, Illinois) scores her first #1 as a solo artist on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend, moving up 4 more places from the midweek's #5 position with "Aftertaste". Katie has reached #1 on this chart in the past, as the lead singer for Muna. She released her first solo album in October. Katie identifies as a lesbian, and she was in a relationship with Naomi McPherson (one of her bandmates in Muna) for three years. According to SoundCharts, the track has reached the Top 10 in eight different countries (including a #1 in the U.S.A. and #2 in Denmark, Finland, and New Zealand). Over the past half-week, the video for "Aftertaste" has gained an additional 34,808 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.39% since the midweek's chart).
Four videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend. American musician Semler (who grew up in Belgium & now resides in Los Angeles, California) rises 7 notches to #4 with "Jesus from Texas". Spanish singer Álvaro Mayo climbs 6 spots to #7 with "No Siento Nada". American singer & TikTok personality Chrissy Chlapecka (from St. Charles, Illinois) jumps 9 positions to #8 with "My Only Dream is to Be Loved". They're joined in the Top Ten by Ukrainian musician Artem Pivovarov, who's moving up 6 places to #10 with "Nich Yaka Misyachna".
Twelve songs fall off the chart to make way for twelve new songs. The weekend chart features 12 debuts by LGBTQ artists from Chile, Canada, the U.S.A., Norway, Australia, and Scotland:

Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:
- Must be from an LGBTQ artist. For a duo/group, at least one member must identify as LGBTQ.
- Video must be available on YouTube.
- Video may not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
- Video must have at least 500 views.
- Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
- Release date of the YouTube video must be within the past four months.
