American musician/actress Lady Gaga (from Manhattan, New York) claims the top spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Disease", moving up 3 more places from the weekend's #4 position. The video features Lady Gaga confronting different versions of herself as she attempts to regain control of her deepest fears personified. According to SoundCharts, the track has achieved #1 on the official airplay or streaming charts in 70 different countries. It reached #1 on The Spotify Global Chart as well. Over the past half-week, the video for "Disease" has gained an additional 1,361,632 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.32% since the weekend's chart).
Five videos more up into the Top Ten this weekend. Belgian artist Pierre De Maere leaps ahead 13 spots to #5 with "These Walls". American alt-rock duo Safe Mind (from Northampton, Massachusetts) rises 5 notches to #7 with "6 Foot Pole". Chilean singer Francisco Victoria climbs 9 places to #8 with "La Necesidad". American musicians Serpentwithfeet (from Baltimore, Maryland) and Orion Sun (from Mount Laurel, New Jersey) move ahead 6 positions to #9 with "Ellipsis". They're joined in the Top Ten by American singer Katy Perry (from Santa Barbara, California) and American rapper Doechii (from Tampa, Florida), who are jumping 10 spots to #10 with "I'm His, He's Mine".
Ten songs fall off the chart to make way for ten new songs. The midweek chart features 10 debuts by LGBTQ acts from England, the U.S.A., Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Germany, and France:

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must meet the following criteria:
- Must be from an LGBTQ artist. For a duo/group, at least one member must identify as LGBTQ.
- Video must be available on YouTube.
- Video may not contain more than one minute of audio that is not music (such as dialogue).
- Video must have at least 500 views.
- Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
- Release date of the YouTube video must be within the past four months.
