Chart notes:
Belgian musician/model Pierre De Maere reaches the #1 spot on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "These Walls", a collaboration with English singer/actress Dua Lipa, moving up 4 more places from the midweek's #5 position. Dua Lipa is widely regarded as a gay icon due to her frequent and outspoken advocacy for LGBTQ equality. Pierre has been to #1 on this chart before, spending two weeks at #1 in February 2023 with "Enfant De". British magazine Xmag said Pierre "has established himself as one of the most promising emerging artists in Europe" and hailed this track as marking "a significant leap in his career". Over the past four days, the video for "These Walls" has gained an additional 243,982 views on YouTube (which is a huge increase of 5.58% since the midweek's chart!).
Four videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend, including a return from a former #1 hit: American musician Katie Gavin (from Winnetka, Illinois) rebounds back up 3 positions to #9 with "Aftertaste". Ukrainian artist Max Barskih rises 5 notches to #6 with "Ya Vzhe Ne Ty". Australian singer/songwriter Hollie Col climbs 9 spots to #7 with "Two Step Plan". They're joined in the Top Ten by French singer Jérémy Frerot, who's gaining 5 more places to reach #8 with "Gamins des Sables".
Fifteen songs fall off the chart to make way for fifteen new songs. The weekend chart features 15 debuts by LGBTQ artists from Australia, England, the U.S.A., South Korea, Brazil, Belgium, Thailand, New Zealand, Spain, and France:
