Chart notes:
Singer/songwriter Grace Semler Baldridge (who uses the name Semler professionally) has earned her first #1 on Tad's LGBT Music Chart this weekend with "Jesus from Texas", moving up 1 more place from the midweek's #2 position. Semler was born in Delaware, raised in Belgium, and then returned to the U.S. to attend university in North Carolina. She identifies as queer, genderqueer, and nonbinary and says that "All pronouns are totally fine" as far as she's concerned. Semler released the EP Preacher's Kid in 2021 that focuses on her experiences of growing up as the child of an Episcopalian priest and being a queer Christian. In February 2021, it was the #1 Christian album on the iTunes chart. Although the EP contained the single "Jesus from Texas" back in 2021, Semler didn't release a music video for the track until late September 2024. Over the past four days, the video for "Jesus from Texas" has gained an additional 2,155 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 4.52% since the midweek's chart).
Four videos move up into the Top Ten this weekend, including a return from a former #1 hit: British singer Charli XCX and American singer Billie Eilish rebound back up 10 places to #3 with their collaboration "Guess". American pop superstar Lady Gaga (from Manhattan, New York) leaps ahead 12 positions to #4 with "Disease". American alt-rock act Vienna Vienna (from Fresno, California) climbs 9 notches to #9 with "Vienna (Everything's Fine)". They're joined in the Top Ten by Norwegian artist Ruben, who's jumping 11 spots to #10 with "Milk and Honey".
Fifteen songs fall off the chart to make way for fifteen new songs. The weekend chart includes 15 debuts by LGBTQ artists from Australia, England, the U.S.A., Ukraine, France, Switzerland, Japan, Poland, Oman, the Philippines, and Portugal:
