Chart notes:
American musician Katie Gavin (from Winnetka, Illinois) hangs onto the #1 position on Tad's LGBT Music Chart at midweek with "Aftertaste". The track is the first single off her debut solo album What a Relief which was released in October. Katie wrote all the songs on the album over the course of seven years, but they were songs that just weren't right for her band Muna and so she decided to release them as a solo artist. Katie said, "Aftertaste is a sweet song about carrying a torch for someone, realizing that you're going out to concerts and parties hoping to run into them there."

Two videos move up into the Top Ten at midweek, both of which happen to be from the U.S.A. American duo Sofi Tukker (from Providence, Rhode Island) leaps ahead 11 spots to #9 with "Woof". They're joined in the Top Ten by American quartet The Aces (from Provo, Utah), who are climbing 3 notches to #10 with "The Magic".

Six songs fall off the chart to make way for six new songs. The midweek chart features 6 debuts by LGBTQ artists from the U.S.A., England, Belgium, Japan, and South Korea:
  • Katy Perry (from California, USA) & Doechii (from Florida, USA)
  • Dua Lipa (from England, UK) & Pierre De Maere (from Belgium)
  • Halsey (from New Jersey, USA)
  • RealXman (from California, USA)
  • Dua Saleh (from Minnesota, USA)
  • XG (originally from Japan & now residing in South Korea)

Voting:
Chart positions are determined by a system of points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. If you'd like to vote for your favorite videos, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog (anonymous comments are permitted) or send me a private message (see the contact info below for the email address). • Video must have at least 500 views.
  • Video must be longer than 2 minutes, but shorter than 6 minutes.
