Chart notes:
It was an extremely close race for the top spot on the LGBT chart this week, with the Top Three songs all proving to be strong contenders for the #1 position. Ultimately, American-British actor/singer PJ Brennan earned the most points from votes and views, and he was able to hang onto #1 for a second consecutive week with "40 Days".

The remainder of the Top Five this week are: the collaboration between German DJ/producer Felix Jaehn and English vocalist Calum Scott (moving up 7 spots to #2), English singer Sam Smith (rising 3 places to #3), Brazilian musician Jao (holding steady at #4 for a 2nd consecutive week), and American singer Miley Cyrus (climbing 5 notches to #5).

Eleven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for eleven new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Um Por Do Sol Na Praia" by Brazilian musicians Silva and Ludmilla, coming in at #21. The title means "A Sunset On The Beach" in Portuguese.

Just one artist (Nancie) is making her very first appearance on the LGBT chart this week. An additional ten artists (Silva, Bebe Rexha, Lizzo, Carlos Vaga, Morgxn, Jake Wesley Rogers, Burcak, Cub Sport, Conchita Wurst, and Corvyx) are returning to the chart with brand-new videos.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Thursday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
