Chart notes:
There isn't much change at the very top of the LGBT chart this week, as Maruv hangs onto the #1 spot for a second straight week with "Siren Song". Right behind her, Daya isn't ready to move yet either and she hangs onto the #2 position for another week with "Insomnia".

The remainder of the Top Five are: Australian duo The Veronicas (moving up 3 spots to #3), Dutch singer Duncan Laurence (rebounding 4 places to #4), and Austrian singer Conchita Wurst (also rebounding 4 notches to land at #5).

Seven songs fell off the chart this week to make way for 7 new songs. The highest debut of the week was "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" by American singer Todrick Hall, coming in at #30. Three other artists (Carly Rae Jepsen, Daniel Schuhmacher, and Betty Who) are returning to the chart with new videos, while an additional three artists (Dorian Electra, Kevin McHale, and Nissu) are making their very first appearances on the LGBT chart.

American actor/singer Kevin McHale, who debuts at #44 with "Help Me Now", is perhaps best known for his role as Artie Abrams in the television series Glee. He's not the only alumnus from that series on the LGBT chart right now, as his former Glee co-star Rilan slips to #38 this week with "Love or Drugs". Kevin came out publicly as gay in April 2018.

Another noteworthy new entry this week is "Just Thought You Should Know" by Australian singer-songwriter Betty Who, entering the chart at #50. In the video, Betty is joined by a roomful of talented LGBT musicians who've all appeared on the LGBT chart before with their own projects -- JHart, Vincint, Mario Jose, and Scott Hoying -- but they're all credited merely as "Betty Who And Friends" in the video.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from: (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past 7 days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Thursday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, please feel free to leave a message on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
