Chart notes:
In her ninth week on the chart, American singer Daya finally reaches the #1 spot with "Insomnia". This is the first official single she's released since she came out publicly as bisexual in late 2018. Daya performed the song live this week at a benefit for the Trevor Project, an organization that aims to prevent suicides among LGBT youth.

The remainder of the Top Five this week are: English singer Katey Brooks (climbing 7 spots to #2), American singer Chris Jehnert (moving up 12 notches to #3), Australian duo The Veronicas (slipping back one place to #4), and American rapper Domo Wilson (going up one spot to land at #5).

Ten songs fell off the chart this week to make way for nine new songs and one re-entry.  The highest debut of the week was "Emotions" by Canadian-American singer Elliot Jones, coming in at #29.

Chart positions are based on points assigned from: (1) the previous week's position, (2) length of time on the chart, (3) views on YouTube from the past seven days, (4) percentage of increase in views from the week prior, (5) my votes, and (6) any votes I've received by Thursday morning. If you'd like to vote for your favorite songs, feel free to leave a comment on this blog or send me a private message (see the contact info above).
