     Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.    

Midweek Chart for 8th December, 2021



Chart notes:
   British singer Uzo Emenike (better known as MNEK) rises one spot to the #1 position on the LGBT Midweek Chart with "Who You Are", his collaboration with English R&B artist Craig David. The track is currently at #8 on the official U.K. radio airplay chart and has appeared on the radio airplay charts of 37 other countries. On the digital/streaming charts, it's reached #1 in 3 countries (the U.K., Estonia, and Uganda) and has reached the Top 10 in 9 others (Ireland, Germany, Slovakia, the United Arab Emirates, Romania, the Czech Republic, Finland, Libya, and Turkmenistan). Over the past three days, the video for "Who You Are" has gained an additional 69,779 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 8.29% since the weekend's chart).

   Three videos move up into the Top 10, including a return from a video that fell out of the Top 10 on the weekend chart: transgender Venezuelan/Spanish musician Arca moves back up 4 spots to #9 with "Prada/Rakata". British singer/songwriter Charli XCX and French vocalist Christine And The Queens are rising 8 notches to #8 with "New Shapes". They're joined in the Top 10 by Swedish singer Darin, who leaps ahead 10 big places to #10 with "Holding Me More".
 
   Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Love Is Just a Word" by English musician Calum Scott, entering the chart at #28. The track is a collaboration with vocalist Jasmine Thompson (who's also from England). According to SoundCharts, it's already reached the Top 10 on the digital/streaming charts of 3 different countries (Norway, Hungary, and Fiji). Over the past half-week, the video for "Love Is Just a Word" has gained an additional 66,099 YouTube views (which is an increase of 8.11% over the previous chart period).
