     Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.    

Midweek Chart for 22nd December, 2021



Chart notes:
   After waiting patiently in the #2 position for three consecutive weeks, Irish quartet Westlife rises to the #1 position on the LGBT chart with "Starlight". According to SoundCharts, the track has already reached #1 on the official digital/streaming charts of four countries (Ireland, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hungary) and has reached #2 in two others (the U.K. and Sweden). Altogether, it has appeared on the digital/streaming charts of more than 50 countries and has reached #4 on the Global Streaming Chart. The song is currently at #22 on the official Irish airplay chart and has appeared on the radio airplay charts of 31 different countries. Over the past three days, the video for "Starlight" has gained an additional 64,411 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 3.41% since the weekend chart).

   Four videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek, including a return from a former #1 hit: British vocalist MNEK rebounds back up 6 spots to #6 with "Who You Are". Ukrainian musician Max Barskih climbs 9 notches to #4 with "Tequila Sunrise". Australian singer Alfie Arcuri jumps 15 places to #8 with "Devil's Lips". They're joined in the Top 10 by Italian artist Ali And The Stolen Boy, who leaps ahead 17 positions to #9 with "Uranus".

   Ten videos fall off the chart to make way for ten new videos. The highest debut at midweek was "Idiota" by Brazilian musician Jão, entering the chart at #32. According to SoundCharts, the track has already reached #4 on the official digital/streaming chart in his home country of Brazil, has also appeared on the digital/streaming chart in Portugal, and has reached #51 on the Global Streaming Chart. The song is currently at #18 on the official radio airplay chart in Brazil. Over the past half-week, the video for "Idiota" has gained an additional 222,775 YouTube views (which is an increase of 9.37% over the previous chart period).
