Midweek Chart: 26 January 2022

     Twice a week, Tad's LGBT Music Chart brings you the Top 50 music videos by LGBTQ artists from around the world.   

Midweek Chart for 26th January, 2022



Chart notes:
   There's no change at the very top of the LGBT chart at midweek, as British singer/songwriter Years And Years holds onto the #1 spot with "Sweet Talker". Over the past three days, the video for "Sweet Talker" has gained an additional 98,731 views on YouTube (which is an increase of 7.94% since the weekend chart).

   Five videos move up into the Top 10 at midweek. Belgian/French musician Angèle climbs 9 notches to #5 with "Démons". Canadian vocalist Theo Tams rises 6 spots to #6 with "One Last Chance". Brazilian actor/singer Bruno Gadiol moves up 4 places to #7 with "Metade". Italian EDM trio Meduza gains 5 more positions to land at #8 with "Tell It to My Heart". They're joined in the Top 10 by Norwegian supergroup Keiino, who leap ahead 10 big places to #10 with "A New Beginning".

   Nine songs fall off the chart to make way for nine new songs. The highest debut at midweek was "Destination" by Ukrainian singer Maruv, entering the chart at #37. Over the past half-week, the video for "Destination" has gained an additional 73,674 YouTube views (which is a massive increase of 24.28% over the previous chart period!).

   Further down the chart, we have 8 more debuts by LGBTQ artists from England, the U.S.A., Sweden, Mexico, and Australia:

  • Aaron Valenzuela (originally from Mexico & now residing in California, USA)

   Chart positions are based on points assigned from a combination of YouTube views and votes. Suggestions for new videos are also welcomed, but they must be from an LGBTQ artist & they must be available on YouTube.
